Call for Entries.

Voda is open for submissions from professional and amateur photographers. Photos can range from a captivating shot of a gorgeous waterfall through a coal ash landfill to a toxic bloom captured at just the right time. It is up to you. The only criteria – send us your best of the best water shots.

You may submit as many photos as you want however, each submission must be done individually.

Submit Your Photos

  • Enter up to six (6) tags that best describe the content of your photograph. Separate each tag using a comma. Example: water, pollution, algae, coal ash
  • Date Format: MM slash DD slash YYYY
  • Tell us what type of photograph this is.
  • Example: I increased brightness, added a color filter and removed a person.
  • Please be as descriptive as possible. Include city, state, country, landmark, national park, etc. We will use this information to plot this photo on a map.
  • Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, pdf.
    Please submit high resolution images under 10MB

  • Submission Rules

    You must be 18 years or older to submit. If the photograph was taken by a minor under the age of 18, a parent or guardian of the minor may submit the Photos that violate or infringe upon another person's rights, including but not limited to copyright, are not eligible. Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content, as determined by The Voda Foundation in its sole discretion, are ineligible.

    Ethics

    If a subject is in a submitted photograph, the Entrants certify that subjects were treated with respect and dignity, and that no people, wildlife or the environment were harmed in creating a photograph.

    Rights

    You retains your rights to your photograph; however, by submitting, you grant The Voda Foundation (and those authorized by Voda) a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the entries, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion, website display, and commercial products, including but not limited to The Voda Foundation publications. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. The Voda foundation will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses. If Voda selects your photograph for an exhibition, Voda will contact you in order to obtain you written consent and / or engage in a letter of agreement.
